The IAEA/ RCA Project Assessment Meeting on Use of Isotopes in Dam Safety and Dam Sustainability will be held in Bangi, Malaysia in 29 September - 3 October 2003. The main purpose of this meeting is to assess what has been achieved in the implementation of the application of isotope, especially i) to conduct case studies on tracer application to dam leakages ii) to identify isotope applications to reservoir water balance estimates iii) to develop further the information exchange system among the Member States. The expected outcomes from the meeting will include: - A critical review of the overall project achievements - A plan for the development of the information exchange system - Identification of new opportunities of use of isotopes in dam safety and dam sustainability
