Provisional Prospectus
Workshop on Enhancing RCARO Interactions with Member States |
1.Background
As endorsed by the 32nd RCA National Representatives Meeting in Manila, the Philippines, RCARO is organizing a workshop on the promotion of RCARO interactions with Member States with consideration of the RCA Medium Term Strategies 2012 - 2017.
2. Dates : 13-15 July 2010
3. Venue : Jeju, Republic of Korea
4. Participants
The participants for the workshop include the members of SAC, interested NRs, selected Experts from Member States and invited participants from Partners in addition to the staff of RCARO. The participants in the Workshop are expected to make short presentations and/or participate in the discussions.
5. Objectives of the Workshop
The Workshop aims to brainstorm on the following topics:
1) RCARO¡¯s Achievements, Review & Analysis of RCARO Roles, and Future Directions
for Better Interactions with Member States,
2) Current Status, Issues, and Future Directions for RCA Promotional Activities and
Partnership Promotion with Regional/ International Organizations, and
3) RCARO Current Issues ? Promotional Video and Homepage Management.
6. Expected Outcome
The workshop will make recommendations on the following matters for the consideration of General Conference Meeting of the National RCA Representatives:
1) Vision and Future Direction of RCARO,
2) The Role of RCARO in Supporting RCA Activities, and
3) Ways to Promote RCARO Interactions with Member States. |
