Completion of 2025 Fellowship Programme (fellows from Pakistan and Sri Lanka)Maryam Siddiq Baba, Senior International Relations Officer of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission and Sooriyathilake Mudalige Dinusha Sewwandi Premathilake, Management Assistant of the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board have successfully completed their fellowship programme at the RCA Regional Office from October to December 2025. Final Report of RCARP03 on Radiotherapy Access ReleasedFinal Report of RCARP03 on Radiotherapy Access Released The final report of the RCARP03 Research Project, “Closing the Gap in Access to Radiotherapy in RCA,” has been issued. Conducted from 2022 to 2024, the project examined radiotherapy capacity, service availability and national needs in participating countries, providing a consolidated overview to support planning and decision-making in cancer treatment services. The study enabled participating Government Parties to apply a common methodology for data collection and analysis, contributing to a clearer understanding of regional trends and challenges. The findings are expected to inform future initiatives aimed at strengthening radiotherapy services within the RCA region. RCARO Hosts Promotional Booth at 2025 KNS Fall Conference in ChangwonThe 2025 KNS (Korean Nuclear Society) Fall Conference is taking place from 29 to 31 October 2025 at the Changwon Exhibition Convention Center (CECO) in Changwon, Korea. The RCA Regional Office is participating with a promotional booth, aiming to raise awareness of RCA's mission and highlight key achievements to stakeholders from various nuclear-related institutions. The conference also presents an opportunity to establish new partnerships within the nuclear community. By engaging with attendees from industry and academia, the RCARO seeks to strengthen cooperation and expand outreach efforts within the nuclear sector, enhancing its visibility among key players.

RCARO Visits KINGS to Meet with Scholarship StudentsRCARO visited the KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School (KINGS) on 29 October 2025 to meet with RCA scholarship students currently studying in the Master’s Degree Programme. During the visit, Director of RCARO, Mr Dae Ki KIM, engaged in discussions with the students on their academic progress and experiences, and encouraged them to strengthen their expertise and leadership in the nuclear field for the future development of their home countries and the RCA region. He also expressed appreciation to KINGS for its continued cooperation and support in nurturing the next generation of nuclear professionals through the Scholarship Programme.
