The RCA Regional Office (RCARO), in collaboration with the U.S. DOE NNSA ORS (Office of Radiological Security), officially opened the Regional Workshop for Driving Sustainable Innovation: eBeam and X-ray Technologies for the Future on 21 October 2025 in Incheon, Republic of Korea. 

 

During the opening, Mr. Woo Jin Lee, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea, delivered his congratulatory remarks and encouraged all participants to actively engage throughout the workshop.

 

Over the next three days, this workshop aims to review and discuss progress made for Expert Mission target countries under the project and discuss national experiences, including feasibility studies and success stories, in adopting and applying eBeam/X-ray technologies across sectors. Participants will have the opportunity to explore practical solutions tailored to their national needs, gain insights from success stories in technology implementation, and engage in consultations with regional experts.
