The final report of the RCARP03 Research Project, “Closing the Gap in Access to Radiotherapy in RCA,” has been issued. Conducted from 2022 to 2024, the project examined radiotherapy capacity, service availability and national needs in participating countries, providing a consolidated overview to support planning and decision-making in cancer treatment services.

The study enabled participating Government Parties to apply a common methodology for data collection and analysis, contributing to a clearer understanding of regional trends and challenges. The findings are expected to inform future initiatives aimed at strengthening radiotherapy services within the RCA region.
