The RCA Regional Office (RCARO), in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration, Office of Radiological Security (DOE/NNSA ORS), and the Government of Thailand, opened the Project Coordination Meeting for the project on "Supporting the Adoption of Electron Beam (eBeam) Technology and its Applications in Areas of Food and Agriculture, Industry, Human Health and Environment Treatment" from 1 to 3 July 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting brought together 52 participants from RCA Government Parties and partner organisations including project counterparts and regional experts.

Over the next three days, participants will review the progress and achievements of the project, share success stories, discuss implementation challenges and lessons learned, and agree on priority activities and a work plan for the remaining project period (2026–2028). They will also exchange technical expertise and experiences to promote the adoption and application of eBeam technology across the region.
