    A superlattice structure for a thin film solar cell includes superimposed layers of nanocrystals and is configured to generate a flow of electrons across the layers when it is irradiated by a solar radiation. Each of the layers includes an array of nanocrystals which have substantially the same size and shape and the nanocrystals of each of the layers have different size and/or different shape with respect to the nanocrystals of the other layers. The layers are sorted in such an order that the superlattice structure is anisotropic. A thin film solar cell having the superlattice structure and a method for making the superlattice structure is related.

    A wrist-worn electromagnetic pulse generating wearable device for repelling great white sharks, tiger sharks, and bull sharks. i.e., the lethal shark breeds. The device includes an artificial intelligence/machine learning component (AI/ML) trained on a dataset including characteristics of the lethal shark breeds. A hydroactive sensor activates the device upon immersion in marine or fresh water. A signal generating component, responsive to AI/ML component, generates an ELF signal that radiates out to a 4 m area surrounding the user to repel shark attacks. Wave pulse characteristics, such as frequency, waveshape, and magnitude are determined by the AI/ML algorithm based on the detected shark breed. Antenna design based on fractal geometry (e.g., the T-square fractal, or the Sierpinski Triangle) generates an ideal isotropic radiation pattern. The wrist-mounted form factor of the inventive device offers improved performance over prior art devices.

    The present invention relates to an inorganic pigment with the function of a catalyst that can be activated by light from the entire visible spectrum but also in the absence of light, to a process for obtaining it, to various formulations containing this inorganic pigment and its use. The present invention also provides a method of destroying pathogens represented by irradiating with electromagnetic radiation from the entire visible spectrum (400 nm-700 nm) the surfaces on which they have been applied-formulations containing the inorganic pigment. Additionally, the invention provides the use of the pigment disclosed herein for its catalytic, bactericidal and virucidal activity in the absence of light.

The method may include: obtaining a planning image of a region of interest relating to a first treatment fraction of a first treatment plan; obtaining a first image of the region of interest relating to a first scan of the region of interest with a first dose level; comparing the planning image with the first image to generate a first comparison result; determining whether the first comparison result satisfies a first replanning condition; causing, in response to a determination that the first comparison result satisfies the first replanning condition, one or more scanners to perform a second scan with a second dose level to provide a second image; and generating a second treatment plan according to the second image, wherein the second dose level is higher than the first dose level.
