The Atoms for a Healthy Planet: Tackling Transboundary Issues event was held on October 20, 2025, at the Hotel ICC in Daejeon, Republic of Korea.

The event aimed to contribute to addressing complex global challenges facing humanity—including environmental protection, public health, food security, and infectious diseases—through the application of nuclear science and technology.

The RCA Regional Office (RCARO) participated in the event by hosting a promotional booth to raise awareness of the RCA’s mission and key achievements, and to engage with stakeholders from various nuclear-related organizations.

Through active engagement with participants from government agencies and industry, RCARO sought to strengthen cooperation, explore new partnership opportunities, and expand outreach efforts within the nuclear community.

The exhibition also provided an opportunity to enhance the visibility of the RCA’s regional cooperation initiatives and to highlight its contributions to promoting the peaceful uses of nuclear technology in addressing transboundary issues.
